ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING UPDATE...

25 August 2021

Tena Tatou Katoa e Te Whanau

Firstly, thank you to everyone for the outstanding response to our Online Survey assisting us to prepare for 'Distance Learning Online'. All teachers have prepared their online learning programmes and these will be ready to commence tomorrow. As I am sure you are all aware, we will remain Alert Level 4 Lockdown until 11.59pm Friday 27 August. The school is prepared to continue to deliver Distance Learning if the lockdown is extended.

Me mihi atu, ka tika ki a koutou katoa.

Tomorrow we will be handing out devices to Parents / Whanau between 10.00am and 2.00pm. To remain contactless, we will be giving out all devices at the bottom school gate. To avoid congestion, we kindly ask that you enter from the Hiruharama Marae end, and exit at the Totaranui end. We also ask that you remain in your vehicle and please wear a mask. We have a device agreement for Parents / Whanau to sign - one copy for you and one for the school.

Our IT Technician, Shaun Swanepoel has advised that he can be contacted on Mobile 027 5686874, if you have any technical issues regarding devices.

Thank you so very much for your support.
